Tudor Squares & COVID-19

All Tudor Squares  Dancing has been Cancelled.

Hello Everyone,
I do hope that you are all keeping well, and just suffering from boredom like me, I’m really missing seeing my dancing friends.

I know that a few of us are keeping in touch via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp or Facebook etc, for a brief chat and discuss what we have been doing to fill the time.

The BAASDC have continued to produce the “Lets Square Dance Magazine” but only as a PDF document, Copies of the most recent issues this can be viewed on the Tudor Squares Web site https://www.tudorsquares.org.uk/?page_id=2911 using your PC, Laptop, Tablet or SmartPhone.

But it’s not the same as having a dance and meeting friends.

I had an email from Highfield Community Centre today- they won’t be opening until September.

Similarly another mail from the Gadebridge Community Centre.

“Gadebridge Community Centre is gearing up to re- open on Monday 6th July, subject to Government guidance. Certain activities will be allowed where distancing can be achieved.
Current guidance does not allow any activity that could constitute being classed as exercise, fitness or sport, including dance. Sharing of equipment, bowls, soft play, is not allowed for the time being.”

Looking on the positive side  I am pencilling in a date for the Mainstream dance for 2021. I’ll send details nearer the time.

Take care and stay safe until we can start dancing again !
