When & Where Do Tudor Squares Meet?
Tudor Squares consists of the following sections:
A new Beginner Classes run on Thursdays, started in 15 October 2010. We hope to start a new Beginners' Class next Autumn. Please watch this space for further details!
The Mainstream Section meets at 8pm on Thursday evenings, at Nash Mills Village Hall, Lower Road, Nash Mills HP3 8RT (map - centre of map should be correct)
The regular caller is Granville Spencer.
The Plus Section meets on Monday evenings, 8pm to 10pm. It meets at the Gadebridge Community Centre, Galley Hill, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 3LG (map)
Callers are Susie and Simon Kelly. The mainstream section joins in about once a month, when Irene Dimmer may also call.
The Advanced Section (A1 & A2) meets on Friday evenings, 8pm to 10pm, also at Gadebridge Community Centre, Galley Hill, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 3LG (map) (the location changed from May 2011).
The callers roughly alternate between Trudy and Simon Fielding, and dancing to "tapes" (actually, music from a PC, which is much better controlled than "real" tapes or disks), led by Alan Jackson.
Other callers may "fill in" from time to time, as necessary.
Visiting dancers at the appropriate levels are always welcome, but please contact us first in case we have had to make last minute changes!
Theg C1 and C2 sections meet on Tuesday and Monday evenings, respectively. Please contact the club for further details.
Although the Round Dance Section restarted in 2010, we have been forced to close it due to lack of numbers..
